"Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving." -- Albert Einstein
Life is a beautiful journey. And as we journey through our lives, we go through a series of processes, stages and passages of development. Within this development, we all experience challenges, obstacles and emotional difficulties of one form or another. And, as we experience challenges and emotional difficulties, it is important to keep our lives in balance to continue moving on. After all, why would we want to ruin the one life we have to live?
In many cases, as we continue to move on with our lives, we may get lost and stuck. But we do not need to remain this way... we can get healed by seeking alternatives. My goal as a marriage and family therapist intern is to assist you in finding alternatives to achieving a balanced life. I employ evidence-based principles characterized by strength-based, empowering, supportive, and relationship-centered therapeutic techniques to help you experience to become a more fully functioning and unified whole person.
If you wish to seek an alternative to what you have been doing thus far and to find out whether I could help you move on with your life, please call or email me and I am confident that we can work together to attain balance and congruence in your life. It is best to begin with a brief phone consult to arrive at your needs and to let you know about my approach and background. If you feel confident to move forward with me, we can discuss fees and set the first appointment.
I offer counseling and consultation for individuals, adolescents, and couples, and my main areas of focus are grief counseling, dating and relationships, adolescents, and late adulthood. To obtain additional information about my psychotherapy services, see the following links:
